Anushka Sharma has been making headlines with rumours of her second pregnancy with husband and cricketer Virat Kohli. The couple has neither confirmed nor denied any reports claiming that she is expecting her second child. The couple that got married in 2017 welcomed their first child in 2021. Amid rumours of a second pregnancy, Anushka and Virat were spotted together leaving a Diwali bash hosted by the cricket team of India.
A video of Anushka and Virat leaving after the party has been doing the rounds on social media. In the video, Anushka is seen wearing red traditional attire with a purple dupatta. She is seen holding her dupatta in a way to cover her belly area. Virat on the other hand is seen in a deep green kurta with silver prints on it. A special party was organized at the team’s hotel in Bengaluru.

Rohit Sharma arrived with his wife Ritika Sajdeh and daughter Samaira. Ravindra Jadeja and wife Rivaba were also spotted at the party. In a viral picture, Team India, along with their families, were seen posing together as one big family. In another picture, Anushka, Virat, and Shreyas Iyer were seen chatting with each other.
Virat Kohli is currently busy with the ongoing Cricket World Cup with India being at the top of the points chart and becoming the first country to qualify for the semi finals. The cricketer also celebrated his birthday on the field recently by scoring a century.
On his birthday, Sharma penned a heartfelt note for her husband. While revisiting his achievements, Anushka wrote, “He is literally EXCEPTIONAL in every role in his life! But somehow continues to add more feathers to his glorious hat. I love YOUUU through this life and beyond and endlessly so, in every shape, form, through it all, whatever it may be so.”
In September, a Hindustan Times report quoted a source close to the couple. The statement read, “Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage.” Another source shared that Anushka visited a clinic in Mumbai with Virat and made a special request to the paparazzi to not make their pictures public. Reportedly, they confirmed an official announcement soon.
